Reading is key to unlocking your imagination:

On an Air Force base where every detail matters—and every decision has consequences—an enlisted Airman and a newly commissioned officer meet by chance… and fall hard.

Their connection is instant. Their chemistry is undeniable. And for a moment, it feels like the universe finally got something right.

But love doesn’t exist in a vacuum—especially not in the military.

Between regulations, rank, deployments, and the relentless pull of duty, they’re forced to build something real in a world that demands discipline and sacrifice. They live by the values: Excellence in All We Do… and the one that tests them most, Service Before Self. Because when the mission comes first, love has to learn how to survive second.

From stolen weekends to long-distance nights, from heart-racing passion to soul-deep devotion, their relationship becomes a breathtaking emotional ride—one that asks the ultimate question:

When tomorrow is never guaranteed… will they choose love anyway?

Loosely inspired by real events, this military-authentic romance delivers heat, heartbreak, and hope—proving that some love stories aren’t just written… they’re earned.

Age Rating: 18+ (Adult Romance) — mature themes, sexual content, and emotionally intense situations.

If you tell me how spicy you want it (closed-door, open-door, or explicit), I’ll tighten the rating language to match exactly.

G. A. GAINESBERNARD

An American author, voice actor, producer, and publisher was born in Southern California on December 27, 1981. His childhood was unique, as he balanced attending public school while touring with his family, who performed in a musical act. Being the nephew of Donna Summer, he witnessed the magic she created on stage and the joy she brought to so many people.   He discovered his love for writing in the sixth grade when he wanted to express his feelings for a girl he admired. In middle school, he bartered his writing services to avoid gang affiliation, often offering help to classmates by writing love letters to attract the attention of young ladies. Throughout high school, he earned Varsity and Junior Varsity letters in swimming. However, after relocating and facing racism from the swim coach at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School, he decided to pursue his interest in the culinary arts, eventually becoming an award-winning pastry chef before graduating high school. After the terrorist attacks on September 11, he felt a call to serve his country and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving honorably both overseas and domestically. After fulfilling his military service, he achieved his lifelong dream by publishing his first children's book, "Hidden In The Vineyard," which sold nearly 400,000 copies. With the success of his debut title, he branched out into various areas of the entertainment industry. He earned multiple degrees, including an Associate of Science in Recording Arts, a Bachelor's in Entertainment Business, and a Master's in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing.
